ABSTRACT
Continuous advancements in mobile communications have led to new era of wireless technology. This has resulted in the explosion of various mobile equipments and has created opportunities for newer wireless products operating at different frequency bands.
Increase in electromagnetic waves has resulted in a crisis of spectrum availability at frequencies that can be economically used .The issues associated with todays radios are spectrum congestion, hardware flexibility and lack of compatibility between different types of devices and different communications and network infrastructures.
