ABSTRACTIn many developing countries, the demand of electrical energy increases day by day. The present generating capacity of about 1, 00,000 MW where as more friendly renewable energy may reach about 10-12 %. The remaining comes from Thermal, Hydel & Nuclear energy.
Conventional sources of energy such as fossil fuels which today meet major part of energy demand are being depleted quickly and the pollution hazard arising out of these has become quite significant .So we are forced to look for non-conventional sources of energy which are renewable and absolutely free and available in abundance.
