Gray scale images are nothing but black and white images, with the specified gray levels. The colour images are represented by different color models like RGB, HIS, Etc., Color images are in general represented by color vectors only.
Color image processing systems are used for a variety of purposes, ranging from capturing scenes for posterity to processing of imagery for feature extraction. These systems often rely on filtering operations, for example, suppress noise that would inhibit the central functionality of the system or
