Neural Networks and Fuzzy logic .doc (Paper Presentation)

ABSTRACT:

Although computers out perform neural systems for arithmetic operations, they cannot make sensible decisions and learn by ordinary experience as neural systems.

This creates the need for neural networks which can supplement digital computers.

In this paper we discuss two types of neurons i.e Biological neuron networks and Artificial neural networks . BNN consists of a cellbody where nucleus is present and

axons which are connected to other neurons .

ANN can perform task associative memory. Neural network reinforcement

algorithm with linguistic information in a control application fuzzy logic is employed to

speed up training of ANN . ANN has its applications in speech , image processing and decision making.This article features an automatic system that select most adequate ANN

structures to solve any type of problem.ANN is used in fault location methods in transmission lines.ANN reduced the average errors in fault distance determination was found to be less than 0.3%, and the
