ABSTRACT:
This technology proposes the construction of novel molecular devices possessing extraordinary devices by manipulating atoms individually and placing them exactly where needed to produce the desired result. Nanotechnology has tantalized researchers for decades, promising a new era in stronger lighter electronic materials. It is the science of small and deals with the properties of materials at the molecular or nanometer scale. Nowadays electronics is mainly digital. This allows all numbers to be represented by their binary equivalents. Most electronic appliances are based on digital electronics, which in essence just required a lot of switches working together in an organized fashion .Here in this paper the basic approach of switching and the reasons to switch to nanoswitches are clearly described including the two types of nanoswitches
